Abstract
Student learning interest is very important in the learning process because interest in learning can determine the success or failure of a learning process. In this study the aim was to find out whether there was an influence on student learning interest by using the Quiz Team Learning Model at Imelda Health Vocational School. This research is a quasi-experimental research. The population taken in this study were all Imelda Private Vocational School students. In this study, the sample chosen was students in class X-1 and X-2. Design This study used an experimental class and a control class. Tests were carried out on both samples with the same test. The test in this study was in the form of an essay with ten questions. The data collection instrument is by giving tests to students in the experimental class and control class. The results showed that there was an influence of the Quiz Team learning model in increasing the learning interest of Imelda Health Vocational High School students. It is said that interest in learning has increased which can be shown by the average Pre-Test score for the experimental class of 21.94 while for the control class the average is 16.83. For the post-test average score in the experimental class which was applied using the Quiz Team learning model of 38.28 while the control class which was applied to the conventional learning model had an average of 31.94. At df = 36 and significant level = 0.05%, ttable = 0.329 and tcount = 0.933. Because tcount > ttable (0.933 > 0.329) then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. It was concluded that there was an influence of the Quiz Team learning model in increasing interest in learning mathematics for class X students at Imelda Health Vocational School.======================================================= Minat belajar siswa adalah hal yang sangat penting dalam proses pembelajaran karena dari minat belajar dapat menentukan berhasil atau tidaknya suatu proses pembelajaran. Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh minat belajar siswa dengan menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Team Quiz di SMK Kesehatan Imelda. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi Eksperimen. Populasi yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMK swasta Imelda. Dalam penelitian ini Sampel yang dipilih ialah siswa kelas X-1 dan X-2. Desain Penelitian ini menggunakan kelas Eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, dilakukan tes pada kedua sampel dengan tes yang sama. Tes dalam penelitian ini berbentuk essay sebanyak sepuluh soal. Instrumen pengumpulan data yaitu dengan memberikan tes kepada siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas control. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwasanya terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Team Quiz dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa SMK Kesehatan Imelda. Dikatakan minat belajar meningkat dapat ditunjukkan dengan nilai rata- rata Pre-Test untuk kelas eksperimen sebesar 21,94 sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol rata- rata sebesar 16,83. Untuk nilai rata- rata post-test pada kelas eksperimen yang diterapkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Team Quiz sebesar 38,28 Sedangkan kelas kontrol yang diterapkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional rata- rata sebesar 31,94. Pada df = 36 dan taraf signifikan = 0,05% diperoleh ttabel = 0,329 dan thitung = 0,933. Karena thitung > ttabel (0,933 > 0,329) maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Team Quiz dalam meningkatkan minat belajar matematika siswa kelas X siswa SMK Kesehatan Imelda Ritonga Rantauprapat.
