Abstract

This study aims to develop a decision support system based on the Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) method to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the selection process for Regional Health Insurance (Jamkesda) recipients in Rokan Hilir Regency. This system is designed to overcome the constraints in manual selection, which is often time-consuming, subjective, and inaccurate. The calculation of alternative values is based on five criteria: income, employment, health conditions, ownership of a Certificate of Poverty (SKTM), and age. The assessment was carried out on eight samples of prospective Jamkesda recipients who met the requirements. From the results of data processing with the WASPAS Method SPK, alternative A001 was selected as the best recipient with the highest score, namely 0.65498, making it the most eligible beneficiary for the Jamkesda program. The results of the study indicate that this system is able to accelerate the selection process and ensure that assistance is provided on target to individuals who need it most.
