Abstract
Penentuan beasiswa bagi mahasiswa berprestasi merupakan proses yang kompleks dan memerlukan evaluasi menyeluruh berdasarkan berbagai kriteria, seperti prestasi akademik, partisipasi dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, kepemimpinan, serta latar belakang ekonomi. Dalam menghadapi tantangan ini, institusi pendidikan sering kali memerlukan pendekatan yang sistematis dan objektif untuk memastikan proses seleksi yang transparan dan adil. Penelitian ini mengusulkan penerapan metode Multi-Objective Optimization by Ratio Analysis (MOORA) untuk membantu pengambilan keputusan dalam menentukan penerima beasiswa terbaik. Metode MOORA menawarkan pendekatan yang efektif untuk menangani masalah multi-kriteria melalui tahapan pembobotan dan penghitungan rasio optimal. Dalam studi ini, beberapa kriteria utama dikategorikan dan diberikan bobot sesuai dengan tingkat kepentingannya. Data mahasiswa kemudian diolah menggunakan metode MOORA untuk menentukan peringkat akhir berdasarkan nilai total yang diperoleh. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa metode MOORA tidak hanya memberikan hasil yang akurat, tetapi juga meningkatkan efisiensi dalam proses seleksi beasiswa. Selain itu, metode ini mampu meminimalkan subjektivitas dalam penilaian, sehingga memastikan bahwa penerima beasiswa dipilih secara objektif berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditetapkan. Penerapan metode ini dapat berkontribusi secara signifikan dalam mengoptimalkan pengelolaan beasiswa di perguruan tinggi, memberikan manfaat yang lebih besar bagi mahasiswa dan institusi pendidikan. Kata Kunci : MOORA, Beasiswa, Mahasiswa Berprestasi, Pengambilan Keputusan Multi-Kriteria, Optimasi, Evaluasi Beasiswa. =============================================================================================== Determining scholarships for outstanding students is a complex process and requires a thorough evaluation based on various criteria, such as academic achievement, participation in extracurricular activities, leadership, and economic background. In the face of these challenges, educational institutions often need a systematic and objective approach to ensure a transparent and fair selection process. This study proposes the application of the Multi-Objective Optimization by Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method to assist decision-making in determining the best scholarship recipients. The MOORA method offers an effective approach to dealing with multi-criteria problems through the stages of weighting and calculating optimal ratios. In this study, several key criteria are categorized and weighted according to their level of importance. Student data is then processed using the MOORA method to determine the final ranking based on the total score obtained. The results of the analysis show that the MOORA method not only provides accurate results, but also increases efficiency in the scholarship selection process. In addition, this method is able to minimize subjectivity in the assessment, thus ensuring that scholarship recipients are selected objectively based on predetermined criteria. The application of this method can contribute significantly to optimizing scholarship management in higher education, providing greater benefits for students and educational institutions.
