Abstract

The research aims to see the effect of using blogger-based learning media using a contextual approach to student learning outcomes in the material of two-variable linear inequalities. The method used was a quasi experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Bilah Hilir, Odd Semester, Academic Year 2022/2023, which is located in Negeri Lama village, Bilah Hilir district. The population of this study were students of class X The science of SMA Negeri 1 Bilah Hilir consists of 4 classes namely X Science 1, X Science 2, X Science 3 and X Science 4 with a total of 144 students. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling and obtained two classes, namely class X IPA 1 as the experimental class, totaling 36 people and class X IPA 2 as the control class, totaling 36 people. Tests are used to collect data regarding learning outcomes before and after using blogger media with a contextual approach and conventional learning. To analyze, the t-test was used using a significant level (α = 0.05). obtained a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000. Test the hypothesis by taking if the value is Significance (sig). < probability 0.05 then Ho is rejected. This explains that it is in the area of rejection of Ho and in acceptance of HI. This means that there is a significant influence from the application of blogger media with a contextual approach to student learning outcomes in the material of two-variable linear inequalities
