Abstract

Kata Kunci: Glifosat, Triklopir, tanaman karet, keladi (caladium) =================================================================================================== Rubber plant productivity is influenced by many factors, one of which is weeds that cause rubber plant productivity to be less than optimal. An example of weeds in rubber plantations is caladium (Caladium). This weed grows around rubber and interferes with rubber plant management. This study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of glyphosate isopropyl amine 480 g/L and tricopyr butoxy ethyl ester 667 g/L in controlling caladium weeds in rubber plantations. The study was conducted at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional Kebun Aek Nabara, Bilah Hulu District, Labuhanbatu Regency from July to August 2024. This study was conducted using a descriptive survey method using 3 experimental doses repeated 3 times. The results showed that Gliofsat and Triklopir at all formulation doses were able to control caladium weeds. In experiment A1, the herbicide formulation was able to control caladium weeds within 3 weeks and at formulation doses A2 and A3, the herbicide formulation was able to control caladium weeds within 4 weeks. At a dosage of 80ml/m2 and 48ml/m2 formulations are able to control weeds better than other doses. Showing the number of weed deaths with scoring results, namely week-1 25% -30% and week 2 31% -75% and week 3 76% 100% and week 4 76% -100% dead weeds. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the best dose in controlling taro weeds is the active ingredients Glyphosate and Triclopyr with a dosage of 80ml/m2 and 48ml/m2 formulations.
