Abstract
Kata Kunci: Internet of Things, WeMos D1 Mini, Sensor Magnet, Telegram, Sistem Keamanan Rumah ================================================================================================= Theft is a common crime in the community, necessitating an effective, practical, and affordable security system. This research aims to design and build an Internet of Things (IoT)-based theft detection system using the WeMos D1 Mini, an MC-38 magnetic sensor, and a buzzer, with real-time notification integration via the Telegram application. The method used was Research and Development (R&D), encompassing hardware design, software programming using the Arduino IDE, and system testing on a simulated home window. The implementation results show that the system is capable of detecting forced door or window openings and provides a buzzer warning with a response time of less than 1 second. It also sends a notification to the user's mobile phone via Telegram in an average of less than 3 seconds. This system has proven reliable, fast, and effective as an IoT-based home security solution. This research is expected to provide an alternative home security technology that is more accessible and efficient, and serve as a reference for the development of more sophisticated IoT security systems in the future.
