Abstract
Kata Kunci: Internet of Things, Pendeteksi Banjir, ESP32, Sensor Ultrasonik, Peringatan Dini ============================================================================================= Flooding is a disaster that often occurs due to heavy rainfall, poor drainage systems, and human activities such as dumping waste into rivers, which causes material losses and casualties. This study aims to design and implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based flood detection system capable of providing real-time early warnings to improve community preparedness. IoT allows devices to be connected via the internet to monitor environmental conditions directly, and in this study, an ESP32 microcontroller was used integrated with an HC-SR04 water level sensor and an FC-37 rain sensor. The research method used the ADDIE R&D model with the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results showed that the system was able to respond to changes in water levels in less than two seconds, turning on the indicator LED according to the danger level, and sending notifications to the Blynk application quickly. The system's reliability was demonstrated by a connectivity level of 98% and the ability to provide local warnings via buzzer and LED even if the internet connection was disrupted. Thus, this system was declared effective as a flood early warning solution and has the potential for wider application in flood-prone areas.
