Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pupuk organik cair (POC) berbahan dasar jahe merah (Zingiber officinale var. rubrum) terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman tomat (Solanum lycopersicum). Metode yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) non-faktorial dengan empat perlakuan dosis POC yaitu: P0 (kontrol), P1 (50 ml), P2 (75 ml), dan P3 (100 ml), masing-masing dengan empat ulangan. Parameter yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan berat buah per tanaman. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pemberian POC jahe merah tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap seluruh parameter yang diamati. Rata-rata tertinggi pada setiap parameter ditemukan pada perlakuan P2 dan P3, namun tidak berbeda nyata secara statistik dibanding perlakuan lainnya. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pupuk organik cair berbahan dasar jahe merah belum efektif meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman tomat dalam kondisi penelitian ini. Kata Kunci: Pupuk organik cair, Jahe merah, Tomat, Pertumbuhan, Hasil ============================================================== This study aims to determine the effectiveness of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) made from red ginger (Zingiber officinale var. rubrum) on the growth and yield of tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum). The method used was a non factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) with four POC dose treatments, namely: P0 (control), P1 (50 ml), P2 (75 ml), and P3 (100 ml), each with four replications. The parameters observed included plant height, number of leaves, and fruit weight per plant. The results of the analysis showed that the application of red ginger POC did not have a significant effect on all observed parameters. The highest average for each parameter was found in treatments P2 and P3, but was not statistically significantly different from the other treatments. It can be concluded that liquid organic fertilizer made from red ginger was not effective in increasing the growth and yield of tomato plants under the conditions of this study.
