Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi menuntut lembaga pendidikan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan administrasi, khususnya dalam proses pendaftaran siswa baru. LKP Intermedia Training Center masih menggunakan sistem pendaftaran manual yang berpotensi menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan seperti kesalahan input data, duplikasi data, serta keterlambatan dalam pengolahan dan pelaporan informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem informasi pendaftaran siswa baru berbasis web menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan MySQL guna meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, dan keamanan data. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah metode waterfall dengan tahapan analisis kebutuhan, desain, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Dalam perancangan sistem digunakan Unified Modeling Language (UML) yang meliputi use case diagram, activity diagram, class diagram, dan sequence diagram. Sistem yang dibangun menyediakan fitur pendaftaran online, pengelolaan data pendaftar, proses pembayaran, serta pembuatan laporan secara otomatis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi yang dirancang mampu mengotomatisasi proses pendaftaran siswa baru, meminimalkan kesalahan dalam pengolahan data, serta mempercepat proses administrasi dibandingkan dengan sistem manual. Dengan demikian, sistem ini dapat membantu meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan serta profesionalitas LKP Intermedia Training Center dalam mengelola data pendaftaran siswa baru. Kata Kunci : Sistem Informasi, Pendaftaran Siswa Baru, PHP, MySQL, Waterfall, UML ================================================================================================== The development of information technology requires educational institutions to improve the quality of administrative services, especially in the new student registration process. LKP Intermedia Training Center still uses a manual registration system which has the potential to cause various problems such as data input errors, data duplication, and delays in data processing and reporting. This study aims to design and develop a web-based new student registration information system using PHP and MySQL programming languages to improve efficiency, accuracy, and data security. The system development method used in this research is the waterfall method, which includes the stages of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system design utilizes Unified Modeling Language (UML), including use case diagrams, activity diagrams, class diagrams, and sequence diagrams. The developed system provides features such as online registration, applicant data management, payment processing, and automated report generation. The results of this study indicate that the designed information system is able to automate the new student registration process, minimize errors in data processing, and accelerate administrative processes compared to the previous manual system. Therefore, this system can help improve service quality and enhance the professionalism of LKP Intermedia Training Center in managing new student registration data.
