Abstract
Penyiraman tanaman merupakan aspek penting dalam perawatan tanaman, yang umumnya masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga kurang efisien dan berpotensi boros. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem penyiraman tanaman otomatis berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) menggunakan sensor kelembaban tanah sebagai parameter utama. Sistem ini memanfaatkan mikrokontroler ESP32 yang terintegrasi dengan sensor kelembaban tanah, relay, pompa air, dan aplikasi Blynk untuk pemantauan dan kontrol jarak jauh. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi desain perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak, implementasi sistem, dan pengujian kinerja secara keseluruhan. Sensor kelembaban tanah berfungsi untuk mendeteksi kondisi tanah, kemudian data diproses oleh ESP32 untuk menentukan apakah penyiraman diperlukan, dan memungkinkan kontrol manual melalui aplikasi Blynk. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu bekerja dengan baik dalam mendeteksi tingkat kelembaban tanah dan melakukan penyiraman otomatis sesuai dengan kondisi yang ditentukan, serta mampu menampilkan data secara real-time dan merespons perintah pengguna dengan baik. Dengan demikian, sistem ini dapat meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan air, menyederhanakan perawatan tanaman, dan mengurangi ketergantungan pada penyiraman manual. Kata kunci: Internet of Things (IoT), ESP32, Sensor Kelembaban Tanah, Penyiraman Otomatis, Blynk ================================================================================================= Plant watering is an important aspect of plant care, which is generally still done manually, making it less efficient and potentially wasteful. This research aims to design and build an Internet of Things (IoT)-based automatic plant watering system using a soil moisture sensor as the main parameter. This system utilizes an ESP32 microcontroller integrated with a soil moisture sensor, relay, water pump, and the Blynk application for remote monitoring and control. The methodology used includes hardware and software design, system implementation, and overall performance testing. The soil moisture sensor functions to detect soil conditions, then the data is processed by the ESP32 to determine whether watering is necessary, and allows manual control through the Blynk application. The test results show that the system is able to work well in detecting soil moisture levels and carrying out automatic watering according to the specified conditions, as well as being able to display data in real-time and respond well to user commands. Thus, this system can improve water use efficiency, simplify plant care, and reduce dependence on manual watering.
