Abstract

Perancangan dan pembangunan sistem kontrol lampu jarak jauh berbasis teknologi LoRa dan WhatsApp bertujuan untuk memberikan kemudahan dalam mengontrol perangkat listrik tanpa harus berada di lokasi secara langsung. Sistem ini menggunakan ESP32 sebagai mikrokontroler, modul LoRa SX1278 sebagai media komunikasi, serta integrasi WhatsApp sebagai antarmuka pengguna. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu bekerja dengan baik dalam mengirim dan menerima perintah antara node pengirim dan penerima. Pada kondisi lingkungan yang tidak terlalu padat, komunikasi berlangsung dengan stabil. Namun, pada daerah padat penduduk dengan banyak hambatan seperti bangunan dan pepohonan, kinerja sistem mengalami penurunan, khususnya pada jarak ±150 meter dengan tingkat keberhasilan sekitar 20%. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, teknologi LoRa mampu mendukung komunikasi jarak jauh dengan konsumsi daya yang rendah, sedangkan integrasi WhatsApp memberikan kemudahan dalam penggunaan. Sistem masih dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut melalui optimasi parameter komunikasi dan peningkatan kualitas perangkat untuk memperoleh kinerja yang lebih optimal. Kata Kunci: LoRa, ESP32, WhatsApp, Kontrol Lampu, Internet of Things ========================================================== The design and development of a remote lighting control system based on LoRa and WhatsApp technology aims to provide convenience in controlling electrical devices without the need to be physically present at the location. The system utilizes ESP32 as the microcontroller, LoRa SX1278 module as the communication medium, and WhatsApp integration as the user interface. The test results show that the system is able to work properly in sending and receiving commands between transmitter and receiver nodes. In environments that are not densely populated, communication runs stably. However, in densely populated areas with many obstacles such as buildings and trees, the system performance decreases, especially at a distance of ±150 meters with a success rate of about 20%. Based on the obtained results, LoRa technology is capable of supporting long-distance communication with low power consumption, while WhatsApp integration provides ease of use. The system can be further improved by optimizing communication parameters and enhancing device quality to achieve better performance.
