Abstract

Kondisi kualitas air merupakan salah satu faktor utama yang sangat berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup ikan mujair dalam kegiatan budidaya. Parameter seperti tingkat suhu air, dan kekeruhan perlu dipantau secara berkala agar kondisi lingkungan kolam tetap berada pada batas yang sesuai bagi perkembangan ikan. Pemantauan kualitas air yang masih dilakukan secara manual dinilai kurang efektif karena membutuhkan waktu, tenaga, serta tidak mampu memberikan informasi kondisi air secara cepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan. sistem monitoring kualitas air kolam ikan mujair berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang mampu melakukan pemantauan secara otomatis dan real-time. Sistem yang dikembangkan menggunakan mikrokontroler ESP8266 NodeMCU sebagai pengendali utama yang terhubung dengan beberapa sensor, yaitu sensor suhu untuk mengukur temperatur air, serta sensor turbidity untuk mengetahui tingkat kekeruhan air. Data hasil pengukuran sensor kemudian dikirimkan melalui jaringan internet menggunakan protokol MQTT sehingga dapat dipantau melalui platform monitoring. Selain itu, sistem juga dilengkapi dengan fitur pengiriman notifikasi otomatis melalui WhatsApp apabila nilai parameter air berada di luar batas yang telah ditentukan. Dengan adanya sistem ini, proses pemantauan kualitas air kolam menjadi lebih mudah, efisien, dan dapat membantu pembudidaya dalam menjaga kondisi lingkungan kolam sehingga mendukung peningkatan kesehatan serta produktivitas ikan mujair. Kata Kunci: Internet Of Things, Monitoring Kualitas Air, Suhu, Kekeruhan, Ikan Mujair ======================================================================================= Water quality conditions are one of the main factors that greatly influence the growth and survival of tilapia (mujair) in aquaculture activities. Parameters such as acidity level (pH), water temperature, and turbidity need to be monitored regularly to ensure that the pond environment remains within suitable limits for fish growth. Water quality monitoring that is still conducted manually is considered less effective because it requires time and effort and cannot provide rapid information about water conditions. This study aims to design and implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based water quality monitoring system for tilapia ponds that is capable of performing automatic and real time monitoring. The developed system uses the ESP8266 NodeMCU microcontroller as the main controller connected to several sensors, including a temperature sensor to measure water temperature, and a turbidity sensor to determine the level of water turbidity. The sensor measurement data are then transmitted via the internet using the MQTT protocol so that they can be monitored through a monitoring platform. In addition, the system is equipped with an automatic notification feature via WhatsApp when water parameter values exceed the predetermined limits. The testing results show that the designed system is able to read water quality parameters properly and transmit data in real time. With this system, the process of monitoring pond water quality becomes easier and more efficient, and it can assist fish farmers in maintaining the pond environment, thereby supporting the improvement of the health and productivity of tilapia fish.
