Abstract
Perkebunan kelapa sawit sering menghadapi masalah keamanan akibat luasnya area serta keterbatasan pengawasan manual. Kondisi ini meningkatkan risiko pencurian maupun perusakan aset. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan membangun sistem keamanan berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang mampu mendeteksi gerakan mencurigakan secara otomatis, memberikan peringatan, dan mengirimkan notifikasi real-time kepada pengguna. Sistem dirancang menggunakan NodeMCU ESP32 sebagai pusat kendali, sensor PIR sebagai pendeteksi gerakan, kamera ESP32-CAM untuk pengambilan gambar, buzzer sebagai alarm suara, serta lampu sorot otomatis yang dihubungkan melalui modul relay. Notifikasi peringatan dikirim melalui aplikasi Blynk agar pengguna dapat memantau kondisi secara jarak jauh. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem berhasil mendeteksi pergerakan dengan respons rata-rata 3–5 detik, menyalakan buzzer dan lampu sorot secara otomatis, serta mengirimkan snapshot dari kamera ke aplikasi Blynk. Uji coba pada berbagai kondisi, termasuk siang dan malam, memperlihatkan kinerja sistem yang stabil. Pemanfaatan panel surya menjadikan sistem lebih mandiri dan sesuai untuk diterapkan di area perkebunan terpencil yang tidak terjangkau listrik konvensional. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa integrasi IoT dapat menjadi solusi praktis dan ekonomis dalam meningkatkan keamanan perkebunan kelapa sawit. Kata kunci : Internet of Things, ESP32, PIR Sensor, Keamanan, Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit ==================================================================================================== Oil palm plantations often face security challenges due to their vast area and the limitations of manual surveillance, which increase the risk of theft and asset damage. This research aims to design and develop an Internet of Things (IoT) based security system capable of automatically detecting suspicious movements, triggering alerts, and sending real-time notifications to users. The system is built using NodeMCU ESP32 as the central controller, a PIR sensor for motion detection, ESP32-CAM for image capture, a buzzer as an audible alarm, and an automatic spotlight connected through a relay module. Warning notifications are delivered via the Blynk application, enabling remote monitoring. The implementation results demonstrate that the system successfully detects movement with an average response time of 3–5 seconds, automatically activates the buzzer and spotlight, and transmits snapshots from the camera to the Blynk application. Tests under different conditions, including day and night, indicate that the system performs consistently. The use of solar panels makes the system more independent and suitable for plantations located in remote areas without conventional electricity access. Therefore, this study proves that IoT integration can serve as a practical and cost-effective solution to enhance the security of oil palm plantations.
