Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh penerapan sistem irigasi tetes dengan kombinasi pupuk NPK terhadap pertumbuhan vegetatif tanaman bayam cabut (Amaranthus tricolor L.). Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada rendahnya efisiensi irigasi konvensional yang kerap menimbulkan pemborosan air dan distribusi yang tidak merata, sehingga berdampak pada menurunnya produktivitas tanaman. Irigasi tetes dianggap sebagai alternatif inovatif karena mampu menyalurkan air langsung ke zona perakaran dengan volume terkontrol, sehingga kebutuhan air tanaman dapat terpenuhi lebih efektif. Metode penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan empat perlakuan kombinasi volume air dan pupuk NPK, masing-masing dengan lima ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari: P1 (1000 ml air + 5 g NPK), P2 (800 ml air + 5 g NPK), P3 (600 ml air + 5 g NPK), dan P4 (400 ml air + 5 g NPK). Parameter yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan diameter batang, dengan pengambilan data setiap lima hari sekali hingga 25 hari setelah tanam. Analisis data menggunakan ANOVA pada taraf 5%, dilanjutkan dengan uji DMRT untuk melihat perbedaan antarperlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan P1 memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap semua parameter pertumbuhan dibandingkan dengan perlakuan lain. Dengan demikian, penerapan irigasi tetes disertai kombinasi NPK pada volume 1000 ml air + 5 g NPK terbukti paling efektif dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan bayam cabut. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi penerapan teknologi irigasi efisien dan berkelanjutan dalam budidaya hortikultura. Kata kunci: Irigasi Tetes, NPK, Bayam Cabut, Pertumbuhan Vegetatif, Hortikultura ================================================================================================ This research aims to evaluate the effect of drip irrigation combined with NPK fertilizer on the vegetative growth of spinach (Amaranthus tricolor L.). The study was motivated by the low efficiency of conventional irrigation, which often results in water loss and uneven distribution, thereby reducing crop productivity. Drip irrigation is considered an innovative alternative as it delivers water directly to the root zone in a controlled volume, ensuring more effective water use. The experiment was conducted using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments of water volume combined with NPK fertilizer, each replicated five times. The treatments consisted of P1 (1000 ml water + 5 g NPK), P2 (800 ml water + 5 g NPK), P3 (600 ml water + 5 g NPK), and P4 (400 ml water + 5 g NPK). Growth parameters observed included plant height, number of leaves, and stem diameter, measured every five days up to 25 days after planting. Data were analyzed using ANOVA at a 5% significance level, followed by Duncan’s Multiple Range Test to determine differences among treatments. The results showed that treatment P1 produced the best performance for all growth parameters compared to other treatments. Therefore, drip irrigation combined with 1000 ml water and 5 g NPK was the most effective treatment in enhancing spinach growth.
