Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of digital financial literacy on the security of online financial transactions among customers of Bank BCA KCP Tanjungbalai. This research uses a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The population consists of customers who use digital banking services, with a sample of 100 respondents selected using purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale. The data analysis techniques include validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, and simple linear regression analysis. The results show that digital financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on the security of online financial transactions. This is evidenced by the t-value of 5.303 which is greater than the t-table value of 1.984, and a significance value of 0.000 which is less than 0.05. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.508 indicates that digital financial literacy explains 50.8% of the variation in transaction security. Therefore, improving digital financial literacy is an important factor in enhancing the security of online financial transactions.
