Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi informasi memberikan kemudahan dalam memperoleh informasi lokasi kuliner secara cepat dan efisien. Rantauprapat memiliki berbagai jenis usaha kuliner yang tersebar di beberapa lokasi, namun informasi mengenai lokasi, alamat, menu, dan rute masih belum terintegrasi secara optimal. Kondisi tersebut dapat menyulitkan masyarakat maupun pendatang dalam menemukan tempat kuliner yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) berbasis Android yang dapat membantu pengguna dalam mencari dan memperoleh informasi lokasi kuliner di Rantauprapat secara mudah, cepat, dan interaktif. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah Waterfall, yang meliputi tahap analisis kebutuhan, desain, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Sistem dirancang dengan memanfaatkan teknologi berbasis lokasi dan peta digital serta dilengkapi dengan basis data untuk menyimpan informasi lokasi dan menu kuliner. Data lokasi diperoleh melalui observasi dan sumber data sekunder, dengan sepuluh data lokasi digunakan dalam pengujian sistem. Fitur yang tersedia meliputi pencarian lokasi, informasi alamat dan koordinat, perhitungan jarak, tampilan peta, petunjuk rute, informasi menu, serta pengelolaan data oleh admin dan operator. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi geografis yang dikembangkan mampu mengintegrasikan informasi kuliner dan lokasi geografis dalam satu sistem sehingga mempermudah pengguna dalam menemukan lokasi kuliner di Rantauprapat. Sistem juga menyediakan pengelolaan data pengguna, lokasi, dan menu secara terstruktur sehingga informasi dapat diperbarui sesuai kebutuhan. Dengan demikian, penerapan SIG berbasis Android dapat menjadi media informasi yang efektif dan efisien dalam mendukung pencarian lokasi kuliner di Rantauprapat. Rantauprapat has various types of culinary businesses spread across different locations; however, information regarding locations, addresses, menus, and routes is not yet optimally integrated. This condition can make it difficult for local communities and visitors to find culinary places that suit their needs. This study aims to design and implement an Android-based Geographic Information System (GIS) that can assist users in searching for and obtaining culinary location information in Rantauprapat easily, quickly, and interactively. The system development method used in this study is the Waterfall method, which consists of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system was developed by utilizing location-based technology and digital maps, supported by a database for storing culinary location and menu information. Location data were obtained through field observations and relevant secondary sources, with ten culinary locations used for system testing. The available features include location searching, address and coordinate information, distance calculation, map visualization, route guidance, menu information, and data management for administrators and operators. The results show that the developed geographic information system is able to integrate culinary information with geographic location data in a single system, thereby facilitating users in finding culinary locations in Rantauprapat. The system also provides structured management of user, location, and menu data, allowing information to be updated according to user needs. Therefore, the implementation of an Android-based GIS can serve as an effective and efficient information medium to support culinary location searches in Rantauprapat.
