Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) memberikan solusi dalam sistem pemantauan lingkungan secara otomatis dan real-time. Pada budidaya perikanan, kualitas air menjadi faktor penting yang memengaruhi pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup ikan. Pemantauan secara manual memiliki keterbatasan karena perubahan kondisi air tidak selalu dapat terdeteksi dengan cepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem IoT untuk pemantauan kualitas air berbasis komunikasi LoRa pada Dinas Perikanan Labuhanbatu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahap Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Sistem yang dirancang menggunakan sensor suhu dan pH, mikrokontroler sebagai pengolah data, modul LoRa sebagai media komunikasi jarak jauh, serta dashboard monitoring untuk menampilkan data secara real-time. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu melakukan pembacaan parameter kualitas air, mengirimkan data melalui komunikasi LoRa, dan menampilkan informasi kondisi air melalui dashboard monitoring. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat membantu proses pemantauan kualitas air secara lebih efektif serta mendukung pengambilan keputusan dalam pengelolaan budidaya perikanan. Kata kunci : Internet of Things, LoRa, Monitoring Kualitas Air, Sensor pH, Sensor Suhu. ================================================================ The development of Internet of Things (IoT) technology provides solutions for automatic and real-time environmental monitoring systems. In aquaculture, water quality is an important factor affecting fish growth and survival. Manual monitoring methods have limitations because changes in water conditions cannot always be detected quickly. This research aims to design and develop an IoT based water quality monitoring system using LoRa communication technology at the Labuhanbatu Fisheries Office. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The developed system uses temperature and pH sensors, a microcontroller for data processing, LoRa modules for long-range communication, and a monitoring dashboard for real-time data visualization. The results show that the system is capable of measuring water quality parameters, transmitting data through LoRa communication, and displaying water condition information through the monitoring dashboard. This system is expected to improve water quality monitoring effectiveness and support decision-making in aquaculture management.
