Abstract

Kelapa sawit (Elaeis guineensis) merupakan tanaman perkebunan penghasil minyak nabati yang memiliki nilai ekonomi tinggi dan menjadi komoditas unggulan di Indonesia. Tanaman ini banyak dibudidayakan karena produktivitasnya tinggi dan dapat diolah menjadi berbagai produk seperti minyak goreng, margarin, sabun, hingga bahan bakar nabati (biodiesel). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis, karakteristik, dan sebaran gulma lompong yang terdapat di areal perkebunan kelapa sawit, serta menganalisis intensitas serangannya terhadap tanaman utama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei dengan P0: control, P1: 7 ml glifosat/ liter air, P2: 10 ml glifosat/ liter air, P3: 15 ml glifosat/ liter air. Data hasil pengamatan dianalisis secara kuantitatif dengan uji DMRT menggunakan SPSS versi 24. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa perlakuan konsentrasi herbisida glifosat berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap persentase kematian gulma Colocasia esculenta. Perlakuan terbaik diperoleh pada konsentrasi 15 ml/L air (P3) dengan tingkat kematian gulma tertinggi, sehingga menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan konsentrasi glifosat mampu meningkatkan efektivitas pengendalian gulma pada areal perkebunan kelapa sawit. Kata kunci : Pengendalian, Gulma Lompong(Colocasia Esculenta), Kelapa Sawit ===================================================================================== Oil palm (Elaeis guineensis) is a plantation crop producing vegetable oil that has high economic value and is a leading commodity in Indonesia. This plant is widely cultivated because of its high productivity and can be processed into various products such as cooking oil, margarine, soap, and biofuel (biodiesel). This study aims to determine the types, characteristics, and distribution of lompong weeds found in oil palm plantation areas, as well as to analyze the intensity of their attacks on the main crop. The research method used is a survey method with P0: control, P1: 7 ml glyphosate / liter of air, P2: 10 ml glyphosate / liter of air, P3: 15 ml glyphosate / liter of air. Observation data were analyzed quantitatively with the DMRT test using SPSS version 24. The results showed that the treatment of glyphosate herbicide concentration had a very significant effect on the percentage of Colocasia esculenta weed mortality. The best treatment was obtained at a concentration of 15 ml/L air (P3), with the highest weed mortality rate, indicating that increasing glyphosate concentration can increase the effectiveness of weed control in oil palm plantations.
