Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk organik cair dan dolomit serta interaksinya terhadap pertumbuhan vegetatif tanaman bibit kelapa sawit (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) pada tahap pre-nursery. Penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktorial yang terdiri atas dua faktor, yaitu pupuk organik cair dan dolomit dengan beberapa taraf perlakuan. Parameter pengamatan meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, diameter batang, dan pertumbuhan vegetatif bibit kelapa sawit. Data hasil pengamatan dianalisis menggunakan analisis sidik ragam (ANOVA) dan dilanjutkan dengan uji lanjut apabila terdapat pengaruh yang nyata. Pemberian pupuk organik cair diharapkan mampu meningkatkan ketersediaan unsur hara dan mendukung proses pertumbuhan tanaman, sedangkan dolomit berperan dalam memperbaiki kondisi media tanam serta menyediakan unsur kalsium dan magnesium. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat menunjukkan dosis pemberian pupuk organik cair dan dolomit yang efektif dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan vegetatif bibit kelapa sawit pada tahap pre-nursery. Dengan demikian, penggunaan pupuk organik cair dan dolomit secara tepat dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif dalam meningkatkan kualitas dan pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit sebelum dipindahkan ke tahap main nursery. Kata kunci: Pupuk Organik Cair, Dolomit, Pertumbuhan Vegetatif, Bibit Kelapa Sawit, Pre-Nursery ================================================================================================== This study aimed to determine the effect of liquid organic fertilizer and dolomite and their interaction on the vegetative growth of oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) seedlings during the pre-nursery stage. The study was conducted using an experimental method with a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of two factors: liquid organic fertilizer and dolomite, with several treatment levels. Observation parameters included plant height, leaf number, stem diameter, and vegetative growth of oil palm seedlings. The observation data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA), followed by further testing if a significant effect was found. Liquid organic fertilizer is expected to increase nutrient availability and support plant growth, while dolomite plays a role in improving the growing medium and providing calcium and magnesium. The results of this study are expected to indicate effective dosages of liquid organic fertilizer and dolomite in enhancing the vegetative growth of oil palm seedlings during the pre-nursery stage. Therefore, the appropriate use of liquid organic fertilizer and dolomite can be an alternative to improve the quality and growth of oil palm seedlings before they are transferred to the main nursery stage.
