Abstract

Spraying using glyphosate active ingredient herbicides with CDA (Controlled Droplet Applicator) sprayer which is commonly marketed is called Micron Herbi and is used for ULV (Low spray volume <50 liters) the spray produces controlled fine granules with q uniform size (250 microns) and a high herbicide concentration and in i sprayer tank containing 15 liters requires 810 ml of glyphosate herbiced and requires 111 liters of water/ha. Research conduted at PT. Supra Matra Abadi Aek Nabara Gardens. Bilah Hulu District, Labuhanbatu Regency, North Sumatra Province, Based on the growth rate of weeds in the disks of the Aek Nabara oil palm plantations, it can be grouped into 4 (four) classes, namely class (A) Very dangerous and must be eradicated, class (B) This class of weeds less competitive and can be tolerated, will but requires regular control and is useful to prevent erosion, class (D) Is a weed that is useful, less competitive and its existence needs to be maintained. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD). From 1 treatment and in 30 days 3 times checking, the results were found on the first penis, which is 10 days after spraying, it can be seen from the characteristics of the wilted leaves that are only found on the tips of the leaves and wilted stem tips, but the roots are still fresh with the death rate still high. 10% then on the second check, which is 20 days after spraying, it can be seen from the characteristics of the leaves that are all wilted as well as all the stems and roots with a mortality rate of 40%, the last check was carried out 30 days after spraying, there were characteristics of burnt leaves as well dry stems and roots with a mortality rate of 100%.
