Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) has opened new opportunities in the development of automation systems for various applications, including the control of lights in home or office environments. This paper discusses the design and implementation of an IoT-based lamp control device, which utilizes internet connectivity to enable users to remotely control lights through smart devices such as smartphones or computers. This device comprises components such as microcontrollers, WiFi modules, and lighting systems. Through a software-based application, users can adjust the status and brightness of the lights, as well as schedule their activation or deactivation according to needs. The development method involves microcontroller programming, WiFi network configuration, and user interface development within the application. Test results demonstrate the effective internet-enabled light control capability of the device, proving the concept of IoT-based lamp control functionality. With the presence of this device, users can enhance energy efficiency and the comfort of their surroundings in a practical and innovative manner. =================================================================================================== Internet of Things (IoT) telah membuka peluang baru dalam pengembangan sistem otomasi untuk berbagai aplikasi, termasuk pengendalian lampu dalam lingkungan rumah atau perkantoran. Makalah ini membahas perancangan dan implementasi alat pengontrol lampu yang berbasis IoT, yang memanfaatkan konektivitas internet untuk mengizinkan pengguna mengendalikan lampu secara jarak jauh melalui perangkat pintar seperti smartphone atau komputer. Alat ini terdiri dari komponen seperti mikrokontroler, modul WiFi, dan sistem penerangan lampu. Melalui aplikasi berbasis perangkat lunak, pengguna dapat mengatur status lampu, mengatur kecerahan, dan mengatur jadwal penyalakan atau pemadaman lampu sesuai kebutuhan. Metode pengembangan melibatkan pemrograman mikrokontroler, konfigurasi jaringan WiFi, serta pengembangan antarmuka pengguna pada aplikasi. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa alat ini berhasil mengontrol lampu secara efektif melalui koneksi internet, membuktikan konsep fungsionalitas pengendalian lampu berbasis IoT. Dengan adanya alat ini, pengguna dapat meningkatkan efisiensi energi dan kenyamanan lingkungan sekitar dengan cara yang praktis dan inovatif.
