Abstract
chilies have high economic and nutritional value. The nutritional content contained in red chili plants such as protein, fat, carbohydrates, calcium, vitamins (A and C) make red chilies a commodity that is needed by the community for cooking ingredients. This research was conducted in Aek Batu Village, Torgamba District, South Labuhanbatu Regency in April - June 2023. This study used a completely randomized design with 4 treatments with 3 repetitions so that 12 experimental units were obtained, namely K0 = (No Treatment), K1 = 6 ml / liter planting, K2 = 12 ml / liter planting, K3 = 18 ml / liter planting. The data were analyzed using the average hypothesis. The parameters observed were the growth of chili plants such as plant height, number of leaves and leaf width. The average height of chili plants obtained at 14 WAP in the K3 treatment of 18 ml/liter plants was 25.0 cm while the lowest average height of chili plants was obtained at 2 WAP in the K0 treatment (without treatment) which was 6.0 cm. The average number of leaves obtained at 14 WAP on K3 treatment 18 ml/plant water was 24 while the lowest average number of leaves of chili plants was obtained at 2 MST at K0 (without treatment), namely 6 leaves. The average leaf width of chili plants obtained at 14 WAP in the K3 treatment was 18 ml/water/plant, which was 9.5 cm, while the lowest average leaf width of chili plants was obtained at 2 WAP in the K0 treatment, 6 ml/liter g/plant, 2.9 cm.
