Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas tentang perancangan sistem pemesanan e-tiket berbasis web pada CV. Travel Rantauprapat. Proses pemesanan tiket yang sebelumnya dilakukan secara manual sering menimbulkan kendala, seperti keterlambatan pencatatan dan kurang efisiennya pelayanan kepada konsumen. Sistem yang dirancang menggunakan metode pengembangan perangkat lunak waterfall, dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan database MySQL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem pemesanan e-tiket ini dapat membantu konsumen melakukan pemesanan secara online tanpa harus datang langsung ke kantor, serta mempermudah pihak admin dalam mengelola data transaksi dan penyusunan laporan. Dengan demikian, sistem ini dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan, efisiensi kerja, serta memberikan nilai tambah bagi perusahaan. Kata Kunci: Sistem Informasi, Pemesanan Tiket, E-Ticket, Web ======================================================================= This research discusses the design and development of a web-based e ticket reservation system at CV. Travel Rantauprapat. Previously, the ticket booking process was carried out manually, which often caused problems such as recording errors, slow data processing, and inefficient services to customers. The system was developed using the waterfall method, with PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the database management system. The implementation results show that the web-based e-ticket reservation system is able to provide convenience for customers in booking tickets anytime and anywhere without having to come directly to the office. It also helps the admin in managing transaction data, monitoring schedules, and generating structured reports more effectively. With this system, the company can improve service quality, increase operational efficiency, and build customer trust. Furthermore, the system strengthens the company’s competitiveness in the transportation service industry in the digital era. Keywords: Information System, Ticket Reservation, E-Ticket, Web
