Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) yang ditinjau dari Self-Confidence dan kemampuan penalaran dalam pendidikan matematika pada materi persamaan kuadrat siswa kelas X ipa SMA Negeri 1 Bilah Hilir. Penilitian ini menggunakan metode uji T. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi dan tes. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa/i kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Bilah Hilir T.P 2022/2023 yang berjumlah 28 orang siswa. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar dan kemampuan penalaran siswa serta self-esteem siswa itu sendiri dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal tersebut. Untuk memperoleh data dalam penelitian ini digunakan tes kemempuan I, dan tes kemempuan II yang berbentuk uraian. Tes kemampuan I berjumlah 3 soal dan tes kemempuan II 5 soal. Setelah data terkumpul dan dilakukan analisis maka diperoleh : (1) hasil tes kemampuan I diperoleh 18 orang siswa atau 64,29% tingkat ketuntasan belajarnya diatas 60%, sedangkan 10 orang siswa atau 35,71% tingkat ketuntasan belajarnya dibawah 60%. (2) tes kemampuan II diperoleh 11 orang siswa atau 39,29% tingkat ketuntasan belajarnya dibawah 60%, sedangkan 17 orang siswa atau 60,71% tingkat ketuntasan belajarnya diatas 60%. Sedangkan , hasil dari kemampuan penalaran siswa pada tes kemampuan I berada pada kategori sangat baik dan pada kemampuan II berada pada kategori baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share (TPS) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Bilah Hiir pada materi persamaan kuadrat. Kata Kunci : hasil belajar; kemampuan penalaran; self-confidence; think pair share (TPS) dan; persamaan kuadrat ==================================================== This study aims to determine the increase in learning outcomes through the application of the Think Pair Share (TPS) cooperative learning model in terms of Self-Confidence and reasoning abilities in mathematics education in the material of quadratic equations for class X ipa students of SMA Negeri 1 Bilah Hilir. This study used the T-test method. Data collection techniques used in this study used observation and tests. The subjects in this study were class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Bila Hilir T.P 2022/2023, which consisted of 28 students. The objects in this study were the learning outcomes and students' reasoning abilities as well as the students' self-esteem in solving these questions. To obtain the data in this study used the ability test I, and ability test II in the form of a description. The ability test I consists of 3 questions and the ability test II consists of 5 questions. After the data is summed and analyzed, it is obtained: (1) the results of the ability test I obtained 18 students or 64.29%, the learning completeness level was above 60%, while 10 students or 35.71% had a learning completeness level below 60%. (2) ability test II obtained 11 students or 39.29% learning completeness level below 60%, while 17 students or 60.71% learning completeness level above 60%. Meanwhile, the results of students' reasoning abilities on the ability test I are in the very good category and in ability II are in the good category. The results showed that the application of the think pair share (TPS) cooperative learning model could improve the learning outcomes of class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Bilah Hilir in the material of buying and selling square.
