Abstract
Kata kunci: IoT, TCS3200, ESP32, Kematangan Buah, ThingSpeak ================================================================================================== This research is motivated by the low accuracy of determining the ripeness of oil palm fruit which is still done manually by farmers, thus potentially causing harvest errors and losses; therefore, a technology-based automated system is needed to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the identification process. Theoretically, this research is based on the concept of the Internet of Things (IoT) as a system capable of connecting devices for real-time data exchange, as well as the use of the TCS3200 color sensor in detecting RGB color composition as an indicator of fruit ripeness level. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model which includes the stages of needs analysis, system design, tool development, implementation, and evaluation to test the system's performance as a whole. The results of the study show that the system is able to detect the ripeness of oil palm fruit based on the color dominance read by the sensor and displays the results directly via LCD and the ThingSpeak platform in real-time. Thus, it can be concluded that the developed system is able to improve the accuracy and efficiency in the process of determining fruit ripeness and is an effective and applicable IoT-based solution for farmers in supporting modern agricultural activities.
