Abstract

Bibit kelapa sawit (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) pada tahap pre-nursery di PT. Tolan Tiga Perlabian SIPEF Group dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan teknologi irigasi sprinkler terhadap efisiensi pengelolaan penyiraman air serta pertumbuhan bibit yang meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, diameter batang, dan kelembapan media tanam, menggunakan metode eksperimen lapangan dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari tiga perlakuan yaitu penyiraman manual, sprinkler frekuensi satu kali sehari, dan sprinkler frekuensi dua kali sehari dengan empat ulangan, kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan uji ANOVA dan dilanjutkan dengan uji DMRT pada taraf 5% untuk mengetahui perbedaan nyata antar perlakuan, dan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan sistem sprinkler terutama pada frekuensi dua kali sehari memberikan pengaruh nyata dan hasil terbaik pada seluruh parameter pengamatan dibandingkan metode manual maupun sprinkler satu kali sehari, ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan tinggi tanaman hingga 19,63 cm, jumlah daun mencapai 5,75 helai, diameter batang sebesar 6,10 mm, serta kelembapan media tanam mencapai 73,00%, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa teknologi sprinkler mampu meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan air, menjaga kestabilan kelembapan media, serta mendukung pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit yang lebih optimal, seragam, dan berkualitas dibandingkan metode penyiraman konvensional. Tolan Tiga Perlabian SIPEF Group with the aim of analyzing the effect of using sprinkler irrigation technology on the efficiency of air irrigation management and seedling growth including plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, and humidity of the planting medium, using a field experiment method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of three treatments, namely manual watering, sprinkler frequency once a day, and sprinkler frequency twice a day with four, then the data was analyzed using repeated ANOVA tests and continued with DMRT tests at the 5% level to determine the real differences between treatments, and the results of the study showed that the use of a sprinkler system, especially at a frequency of twice a day, had a real effect and the best results on all parameters compared to manual methods and sprinklers once a day, indicated by an increase in plant height of up to 19.63 cm, the number of leaves reached 5.75 strands, stem diameter of 6.10 mm, and humidity of the planting medium reached 73.00%, so it can be found that sprinkler technology is able to increase the efficiency of air use, maintain stable media humidity, and help oil palm seedlings that are more optimal, uniform, and of better quality than conventional watering methods.
