Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian air kelapa sebagai zat pengatur tumbuh (ZPT) alami terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) pada tahap pre-nursery serta menentukan konsentrasi terbaik yang mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Bandar Selamat I, Kecamatan Rantau Utara, Kabupaten Labuhanbatu selama 3 bulan, yaitu November 2025 sampai Januari 2026. Metode yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan, yaitu B0 (0 ml), B1 (100 ml), B2 (150 ml), dan B3 (200 ml). Parameter yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan diameter batang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian air kelapa tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, namun memberikan pengaruh sangat nyata terhadap jumlah daun dan diameter batang. Perlakuan terbaik diperoleh pada B2 (150 ml) yang menghasilkan jumlah daun dan diameter batang tertinggi dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya. Dengan demikian, pemberian air kelapa pada konsentrasi 150 ml merupakan perlakuan paling efektif dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit pada tahap pre-nursery. Kata Kunci: Air Kelapa, Kelapa Sawit, Pre-Nursery, Zat Pengatur Tumbuh, Pertumbuhan Tanaman ================================================================== This study aims to determine the effect of coconut water application as a natural plant growth regulator (PGR) on the growth of oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) seedlings at the pre-nursery stage and to identify the optimal concentration for improving plant growth. The research was conducted in Bandar Selamat I, Rantau Utara District, Labuhanbatu Regency for three months, from November 2025 to January 2026. The method used was a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with four treatments and five replications, namely B0 (0 ml), B1 (100 ml), B2 (150 ml), and B3 (200 ml). The observed parameters included plant height, number of leaves, and stem diameter.The results showed that coconut water application had no significant effect on plant height but had a highly significant effect on the number of leaves and stem diameter. The best treatment was B2 (150 ml), which produced the highest number of leaves and stem diameter compared to other treatments. Therefore, the application of 150 ml coconut water is the most effective treatment in enhancing the growth of oil palm seedlings at the pre-nursery stage.
