Abstract
Keamanan pada lingkungan kantor desa sebagai salah satu objek vital memerlukan sistem pengawasan yang mampu bekerja secara real-time, responsif, serta mudah diakses oleh penanggung jawab keamanan. Penelitian ini merancang dan membangun Smart Laser Security System berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang memanfaatkan sensor laser sebagai pendeteksi gangguan fisik serta ESP32 sebagai mikrokontroler utama. Sistem ini dirancang untuk mengirimkan notifikasi otomatis melalui WhatsApp ketika terjadi pemutusan sinar laser atau indikasi intrusi lainnya. Metode yang digunakan meliputi perancangan perangkat keras berupa modul laser, sensor penerima, buzzer, dan ESP32, serta pengembangan perangkat lunak yang mengintegrasikan komunikasi IoT dengan layanan pesan WhatsApp melalui API. Sistem diuji untuk mengukur tingkat keakuratan deteksi, kecepatan pengiriman notifikasi, serta stabilitas koneksi jaringan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa Smart Laser Security System mampu mendeteksi gangguan secara cepat dengan tingkat akurasi tinggi, serta mengirimkan notifikasi WhatsApp dalam hitungan detik. Penggunaan IoT memungkinkan pemantauan jarak jauh secara real-time, sedangkan pemanfaatan WhatsApp meningkatkan aksesibilitas dan kemudahan bagi petugas keamanan. Dengan demikian, sistem ini dapat menjadi solusi keamanan yang efektif, efisien, dan mudah diimplementasikan pada lingkungan kantor desa atau area lain yang membutuhkan pengawasan berkelanjutan. Kata Kunci : Internet of Things, ESP32, Laser Sensor, Sistem Keamanan, WhatsApp Notification. ==================================================================================================== Security in the village office environment, as a vital facility, requires a surveillance system that can operate in real time, is responsive, and is easily accessible to security personnel. This research designed and built an Internet of Things (IoT)-based Smart Laser Security System that utilizes a laser sensor to detect physical intrusions and an ESP32 as the main microcontroller. This system is designed to send automatic notifications via WhatsApp when the laser beam is cut off or other indications of intrusion occur. The methods used included hardware design consisting of a laser module, a receiver sensor, a buzzer, and an ESP32, as well as software development that integrates IoT communication with the WhatsApp messaging service via API. The system was tested to measure detection accuracy, notification delivery speed, and network connection stability. The test results showed that the Smart Laser Security System was able to detect intrusions quickly with a high degree of accuracy and send WhatsApp notifications within seconds. The use of IoT enables real-time remote monitoring, while the use of WhatsApp increases accessibility and convenience for security personnel. Therefore, this system can be an effective, efficient, and easily implemented security solution in village offices or other areas requiring continuous surveillance.
