Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of financial literacy, financial inclusion, and financial behavior on the financial performance of culinary micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM) in Labuhanbatu Regency. This research adopts a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected from 100 culinary UMKM owners selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The results reveal that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on UMKM financial performance, financial inclusion has a positive and significant effect on financial performance, and financial behavior also has a positive and significant effect on UMKM financial performance. Simultaneously, financial literacy, financial inclusion, and financial behavior explain a substantial proportion of the variance in UMKM financial performance. These findings indicate that improving financial knowledge, expanding access to formal financial services, and adopting sound financial behavior are essential factors in enhancing the financial performance and sustainability of culinary UMKM.
