Abstract
Penyandang disabilitas buta warna sering mengalami kesulitan dalam membedakan warna pada objek yang digunakan dalam aktivitas sehari-hari. Kondisi tersebut dapat memengaruhi kemandirian dalam melakukan berbagai pekerjaan yang memerlukan identifikasi warna secara tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem pendeteksi warna berbasis sensor warna TCS34725 dan voice assistant yang mampu membantu penyandang buta warna mengenali warna objek melalui keluaran suara secara real-time. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan mikrokontroler ESP32 sebagai pengendali utama, sensor warna TCS34725 sebagai pendeteksi warna, modul DFPlayer Mini sebagai pemutar audio, serta speaker sebagai media keluaran suara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi tahap perancangan perangkat keras, perancangan perangkat lunak, implementasi sistem, kalibrasi sensor, dan pengujian pembacaan warna terhadap tujuh sampel warna, yaitu merah, hijau, biru, kuning, ungu, hitam, dan putih. Setiap warna diuji sebanyak 20 kali untuk mengetahui tingkat keberhasilan sistem dalam melakukan identifikasi warna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mengenali warna merah, hitam, dan putih dengan tingkat keberhasilan sebesar 100%, warna hijau sebesar 95%, warna biru sebesar 90%, warna kuning sebesar 75%, dan warna ungu sebesar 65%. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa sistem telah mampu menjalankan fungsinya sebagai alat bantu pendeteksi warna bagi penyandang disabilitas buta warna dengan memberikan informasi warna dalam bentuk suara secara cepat dan mudah dipahami. This condition may reduce their independence in performing tasks that require accurate color recognition. This research aims to design and develop a color detection system based on the TCS34725 color sensor and a voice assistant to assist people with color vision deficiency by providing real-time audio information about detected colors. The system was developed using an ESP32 microcontroller as the main controller, a TCS34725 color sensor for color detection, a DFPlayer Mini module for audio playback, and a speaker as the audio output device. The research method consisted of hardware design, software development, system implementation, sensor calibration, and color detection testing using seven color samples, namely red, green, blue, yellow, purple, black, and white. Each color sample was tested twenty times to evaluate the system's identification performance. The results showed that the system achieved an accuracy of 100% for red, black, and white, 95% for green, 90% for blue, 75% for yellow, and 65% for purple. These findings indicate that the proposed system is capable of functioning as an assistive device for people with color vision deficiency by providing color information through clear and real-time voice output.
