Abstract

Kata kunci: Generasi Z; Kepercayaan; Ketertarikan Konsumen; Marketplace Shopee; User Generated Content ============================================================== This study examines the relationships between User-Generated Content (UGC), Trust, and Generation Z Consumer Interest in the Shopee marketplace. A quantitative cross-sectional explanatory survey design was employed. The sample consisted of 120 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS Statistics version 29. The results indicate that User-Generated Content is positively and significantly associated with Consumer Interest (B = 0.683; β = 0.664; t = 10.089; p < 0.001). Trust is also positively and significantly associated with Consumer Interest (B = 0.154; β = 0.171; t = 2.596; p = 0.011). The overall regression model is statistically significant (F = 61.233; p < 0.001), with an R² of 0.511 and an Adjusted R² of 0.503. Thus, 51.1% of the variation in Consumer Interest is explained by the two predictors included in the model, while the remaining variation is not explained by the model. Based on the standardized coefficients, User-Generated Content has a larger relative coefficient than Trust. These findings highlight the importance of user-generated information and trust in explaining Generation Z consumers' interest in the Shopee marketplace Keywords: Consumer Interest; Generation Z; Shopee Marketplace; Trust; User-Generated Content
