Abstract
This project aims to design and develop an Arduino-based prayer reminder using components such as the RTC DS1302, MAX7219 display, buzzer, and buttons. This system is designed to display the current time and automatically provide reminders of prayer times according to a predetermined schedule. The use of the DS1302 RTC allows this project to access accurate time, while the MAX7219 screen is used to display the time in hours, minutes and seconds format. The buzzer is used as an audio reminder when prayer time arrives. Buttons are used for user interaction, such as setting the time or accessing additional features. The Arduino program is used to control all components, including the time reading from the RTC, the display on the MAX7219, and the prayer time reminder logic. This project allows customizing prayer times according to user needs and can be supported with additional features such as date display, additional alarms, or integration with prayer time data from external sources. In addition, this project can be integrated into hardware in the form of PCBs which can be mass-produced for use in a wider context. Thus, users can have a practical solution to accurately and efficiently manage their prayer times using Arduino technology. Keywords: Prayer Time Reminder, Arduino, User Needs
