Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor dan upaya yang dilakukan pihak sekolah Madrasah Tsanawiyah Pondok Pesantren Daarul Muhsinin untuk mengatasi tindak bullying. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi deskriptif kualitatif untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai faktor yang menjadi sebab munculnya tindakan bullying, dan upaya yang dilakukan sekolah dalam mengatasi tindak bullying yang dialami kalangan pelajar-santri di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Pondok Pesantren Daarul Muhsinin. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara. Responden penelitian yaitu kepala sekolah, wali kelas, guru kesiswaan, pelajar-santri yang terlibat tindak bullying, dan pembina Madrasah Tsanawiyah Pondok Pesantren Daarul Muhsinin. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan mengenai faktor penyebab bullying di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Pondok Pesantren Daarul Muhsinin yaitu: faktor fisik, faktor senioritas, faktor teman sebaya, faktor lingkungan. Bentuk upaya sekolah dalam mengatasi tindakan bullying yang telah didapatkan melalui peroses penelitian yaitu: sosialisasi, peraturan dan sanksi, komunikasi antar guru, orang tua dan peserta didik dalam mengatasi tindak bullying. Adanya kerjasama untuk mengubah tingkah laku dengan penalaran nilai moral yang baik sesuai dengan arahan dan bantuan baik pihak sekolah maupun orang tua. ============================================= The Role of Schools in Overcoming Bullying Among Students. This study aims to determine the factors and efforts made by the Madrasah Tsanawiyah Daarul Muhsinin Islamic Boarding School to overcome bullying. This study uses qualitative descriptive studies to obtain information about the factors that cause bullying, and the efforts made by schools in overcoming bullying experienced by students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Daarul Muhsinin Islamic Boarding School. This study used purposive sampling techniques. The instruments used are observation and interviews. The respondents of the study were school principals, homeroom teachers, student teachers, students involved in bullying, and Madrasah Tsanawiyah coaches of Daarul Muhsinin Islamic Boarding School. The results of this study found that the factors causing bullying in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Daarul Muhsinin Islamic Boarding School are: physical factors, seniority factors, peer factors, environmental factors. The form of school efforts in overcoming bullying that has been obtained through research processes is: socialization, regulations and sanctions, communication between teachers, parents and students in overcoming bullying. There is cooperation to change behavior with good moral value reasoning in accordance with the direction and assistance of both the school and parents.
