Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan mengevaluasi Sistem Informasi Adaptif untuk Pembelajaran Online yang mampu menyesuaikan konten pembelajaran berdasarkan profil kognitif mahasiswa. Pengembangan sistem dilakukan menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE, meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan arsitektur adaptif, pengembangan modul personalisasi, implementasi pada platform e learning, dan evaluasi kinerja sistem. Profil kognitif mahasiswa diidentifikasi menggunakan tes gaya belajar dan kemampuan penalaran, kemudian dipetakan ke dalam model adaptasi untuk mengatur penyajian materi, tingkat kesulitan, serta rekomendasi aktivitas belajar. Pengujian dilakukan pada 120 mahasiswa menggunakan desain eksperimen pretest-posttest dengan kelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem adaptif mampu meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran, dibuktikan oleh peningkatan nilai belajar secara signifikan (p < 0,05) serta peningkatan keterlibatan belajar sebesar 23% dibandingkan kelompok non-adaptif. Analisis kepuasan pengguna menunjukkan bahwa 92% mahasiswa menilai sistem membantu mereka memahami materi sesuai gaya kognitif masing-masing. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem informasi adaptif yang dikembangkan terbukti valid, efektif, dan layak diterapkan dalam lingkungan pembelajaran online. Sistem ini mampu memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih personal dan mendukung peningkatan hasil belajar mahasiswa berdasarkan profil kognitif individual. Kata Kunci : Sistem Informasi Adaptif, Pembelajaran Online, Profil Kognitif, Personalisasi Belajar, E-Learning, Addie, Gaya Belajar ================================================================================================ This study aims to develop and evaluate an Adaptive Information System for Online Learning that adjusts learning content based on students’ cognitive profiles. The system was developed using a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model, consisting of needs analysis, adaptive architecture design, development of personalization modules, implementation within an e-learning platform, and system performance evaluation. Students’ cognitive profiles were identified through learning style assessments and reasoning ability tests, which were then mapped into an adaptive model to regulate content presentation, difficulty levels, and recommended learning activities. The system was tested with 120 university students using a pretest–posttest experimental design involving a control group. The results show that the adaptive system significantly improved learning effectiveness, as indicated by a notable increase in learning outcomes (p < 0.05) and a 23% rise in learning engagement compared to the non adaptive group. User satisfaction analysis revealed that 92% of students agreed that the system supported better understanding of the material according to their individual cognitive characteristics. In conclusion, the developed adaptive information system is proven to be valid, effective, and feasible for implementation in online learning environments. The system provides a more personalized learning experience and enhances students’ academic performance based on their cognitive profiles.
