Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis biaya produksi, penerimaan, pendapatan, serta kelayakan usaha budidaya jamur merang (Volvariella volvacea) dengan memanfaatkan limbah janjangan kosong kelapa sawit sebagai media tanam di Desa Kampung Pajak, Kecamatan NA IX-X, Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa total biaya produksi dalam satu kali panen sebesar Rp 1.825.693 yang terdiri dari biaya tetap dan biaya variabel. Penerimaan yang diperoleh sebesar Rp 4.000.000 dengan pendapatan bersih sebesar Rp 2.174.307 per siklus produksi. Analisis kelayakan usaha menunjukkan nilai R/C ratio sebesar 2,1 (>1), yang berarti usaha budidaya jamur merang ini layak dan menguntungkan untuk dijalankan. Pemanfaatan limbah janjangan kosong kelapa sawit sebagai media tanam terbukti dapat menekan biaya produksi sekaligus meningkatkan nilai ekonomi limbah. Oleh karena itu, usaha ini berpotensi dikembangkan sebagai alternatif usaha bagi petani untuk meningkatkan pendapatan. Kata kunci: Jamur Merang, Janjangan Kosong Kelapa Sawit, Pendapatan, Biaya Produksi, Kelayakan Usaha ============================================================================ This study aims to analyze production costs, revenue, income, and the feasibility of straw mushroom (Volvariella volvacea) cultivation using empty oil palm bunch waste as a growing medium in Kampung Pajak Village, NA IX-X District, North Labuhanbatu Regency. The research method used was a quantitative descriptive approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the total production cost per harvest cycle was IDR 1,825,693, consisting of fixed and variable costs. The total revenue obtained was IDR 4,000,000, resulting in a net income of IDR 2,174,307 per production cycle. The feasibility analysis indicated an R/C ratio of 2.1 (>1), meaning that the straw mushroom cultivation business is profitable and feasible to operate. The utilization of empty oil palm bunch waste as a planting medium has proven effective in reducing production costs while increasing the economic value of agricultural waste. Therefore, this business has strong potential to be developed as an alternative source of income for farmers.
