Abstract
This study aims to analyze the potential of various oil palm seed varieties utilized at PTPN IV Regional 1 Sisumut Estate to optimize land productivity. The selection of seed varieties is a crucial factor determining the production quantity of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) and the quality of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) extraction rates. The research method employed is descriptive-quantitative, comparing secondary data on vegetative growth and the production realization of several superior varieties planted at the Sisumut estate. The results of the analysis Sample B has superior productivity performance compared to Sample A. This is proven by the higher FFB weight regression value (175.68 in Sample B and 156.58 in Sample A), Sample A has a higher Average Bunch Weight (AGB) (16.68 kg). However, in terms of intensity, Sample B is more productive with an average of 12.61 bunches/tree, far surpassing Sample A which only produces 10.06 bunches/tree due to the age factor of older plants. This result are expected to provide insights into the most adaptive and productive varieties within the specific land characteristics of the Sisumut Estate. The recommendations from this study can serve as a basis for management considerations in future replanting policies to achieve sustainable production targets. Keywords: Seed Varieties, Oil Palm, PTPN IV Sisumut Estate, Productivity, FFB ================================================================================================ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi berbagai varietas benih kelapa sawit yang digunakan di PTPN IV Regional 1 Kebun Sisumut guna mengoptimalkan produktivitas lahan.
