Abstract
Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) merupakan instansi yang berperan dalam menyediakan air bersih bagi masyarakat. Dalam proses pengelolaannya, masih terdapat berbagai permasalahan seperti keterbatasan dalam memantau debit dan aliran air, serta lambatnya penanganan masyarakat terjadi kerusakan pada jaringan distribusi. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang suatu sistem monitoring air berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang dapat membaca dan mencatat volume air secara otomatis menggunakan sensor water flow YF- S20. Serta dapat melakukan pemantauan secara langsung dan berkelanjutan. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah Research and Development (R&D), yang mencakup tahapan perancangan, implementasi, hingga pengujian alat. Sistem yang dikembangkan memanfaatkan sensor untuk mengukur debit dan tekanan air yang terhubung dengan sensor water flow YF- S20., kemudian data yang diperoleh dikirimkan melalui jaringan internet ke platform berbasis aplikasi blink untuk ditampilkan secara real-time. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, monitoring ini mampu menyajikan informasi kondisi aliran air secara akurat dan cepat, sehingga membantu pihak PDAM dalam melakukan pengawasan serta pengambilan vasyaraka. Selain itu, vasyar ini juga dapat digunakan bagi pengguna pelangga pdam dengan menggunakan aplikasi blink yg dapat diliat dan diakses oleh pengguna. Dengan demikian, penerapan istilah monitoring berbasis IoT ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kinerja operasional serta mutu pelayanan kepada masyarakat. Kata kunci: PDAM, IoT, Sistem Monitoring, Sensor Flow, Real-Time ==================================================================================== The Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) is an agency responsible for providing clean water to the public. Its management still faces various challenges, such as limited monitoring of water discharge and flow, and slow response to leaks in the distribution network. Therefore, this research aims to design an Internet of Things (IoT)-based water monitoring system that can automatically read and record water volume using the YF-S20 water flow sensor. It can also perform direct and continuous monitoring.The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), encompassing system design, implementation, and testing. The developed system utilizes sensors to measure water discharge and pressure connected to the YF-S20 water flow sensor. The data is then transmitted via the internet to a Blink app-based platform for real-time display.Test results show that this system is capable of providing accurate and timely information on water flow conditions, thus assisting PDAM in monitoring and decision-making. Furthermore, this system can also be used by PDAM customers through the Blink app, which can be viewed and accessed by users.Thus, the implementation of this IoT-based monitoring system is expected to improve operational performance and the quality of public services.
