Abstract
Stunting merupakan masalah gizi anak yang mengakibatkan panjang atau tinggi badan anak berada di bawah rata-rata anak seusianya dengan jenis kelamin yang sama. Aktivitas penanganan Stunting di Indonesia masih sulit dilakukan karena banyak masyarakat yang beranggapan bahwa anak bertubuh pendek tidak berbahaya dan hanya sebatas bawaan genetik. Untuk mempercepat penyelesaian masalah stunting ini,dianggap perlu adanya sistem informasi yang dapat membantu masyarakat dengan mudah dan cepat. sistem informasi pencatatan anak stunting (SIMCATING)”, mampu berfungsi dengan baik sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Dalam penelitian ini metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan yaitu Waterfall dengan perangkat lunak pendukung yang digunakan adalah PHP dan MySQL. Melihat realita diatas, maka dianggap perlu membangun sistem informasi berbasis website yang berguna untuk memudahkan Desa Bandar Kumbul dan masyarakat dalam mengupayakan terselesainya masalah stunting di desa tersebut. Aplikasi ini selain dapat memberikan informasi stunting pada masyarkat juga terdapat menu pengecekan kesehatan anak terkait pertumbuhan anak serta menu diskusi yang dapat digunakan oleh masyarakat untuk berkomunikasi dengan Desa Bandar Kumbul. Kata Kunci : Sistem Informasi, Stunting, Aplikasi PHP & MySQL, Berbasis Web ============================================================================================== Stunting is a child nutrition problem that results in a child's length or height being below the average of children their age with the same gender. Efforts to handle stunting in Indonesia are still difficult because many people assume that short stature in children is not dangerous and is merely due to genetic factors. To accelerate the resolution of this stunting problem, it is considered necessary to have an information system that can assist the community easily and quickly. The stunting child recording information system (SIMCATING) is able to function properly as expected. In this study, the system development method used is Waterfall, with supporting software PHP and MySQL. Based on the reality above, it is considered necessary to build a website-based information system that is useful for facilitating Bandar Kumbul Village and the community in addressing the stunting problem in the village. This application not only provides information about stunting to the community but also includes a child health check feature related to child growth, as well as a discussion menu that can be used by the community to communicate with Bandar Kumbul Village.
