Abstract

Pemanfaatan Internet of Things (IoT) dapat mendukung proses monitoring kendaraan secara lebih efektif dan terintegrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan membangun sistem monitoring mobil berbasis IoT pada Travel RAPI serta menguji kinerja sistem dalam memantau lokasi dan kondisi kendaraan. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah Waterfall, meliputi tahap analisis, desain, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Sistem menggunakan ESP32 yang terintegrasi dengan GPS NEO-6M, sensor DHT11, sensor MQ135, LCD, buzzer, jaringan Wi-Fi, basis data Supabase, dan website monitoring. Data lokasi, suhu kabin, serta nilai sensor MQ135 dikirimkan secara berkala melalui REST API dan ditampilkan secara near real time. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan seluruh 18 skenario black box testing berhasil dengan tingkat keberhasilan 100%. Pengujian GPS menghasilkan rata-rata selisih posisi sebesar 4,57 meter, sedangkan sensor DHT11 memiliki rata-rata kesalahan sebesar 0,86%. Sistem mampu mengirimkan data setiap sekitar 15 detik. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, sistem yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan untuk membantu proses monitoring kendaraan Travel RAPI secara terintegrasi. Kata kunci: Internet of Things, monitoring kendaraan, ESP32, GPS, Travel RAPI =================================================================== The Internet of Things (IoT) can support more effective and integrated vehicle monitoring. This study aims to design and develop an IoT-based vehicle monitoring system for Travel RAPI and evaluate its performance in monitoring vehicle location and condition. The system was developed using the Waterfall method, consisting of analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages. The system integrates an ESP32 with a NEO-6M GPS module, DHT11 sensor, MQ135 sensor, LCD, buzzer, Wi-Fi network, Supabase database, and web-based monitoring application. Vehicle location, cabin temperature, and MQ135 sensor values are periodically transmitted through a REST API and displayed in near real time. The results show that all 18 black-box testing scenarios were successfully completed with a 100% success rate. GPS testing produced an average positional deviation of 4.57 meters, while the DHT11 sensor showed an average error of 0.86%. The system was also able to transmit monitoring data approximately every 15 seconds. Therefore, the developed system can support integrated vehicle monitoring at Travel RAPI.
