Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) memungkinkan terciptanya sistem keamanan rumah yang lebih cerdas, efisien, dan mudah diawasi dari jarak jauh. Penelitian ini mengimplementasikan sistem keamanan rumah berbasis IoT dengan memanfaatkan modul LoRa sebagai media komunikasi jarak jauh dan WhatsApp sebagai platform notifikasi real-time kepada pengguna. Sistem ini menggunakan sensor gerak, sensor pintu, dan sensor asap yang terhubung ke mikrokontroler sebagai node pemantau. Data hasil deteksi dikirimkan ke gateway melalui LoRa, yang menawarkan jangkauan luas dan konsumsi daya rendah. Gateway kemudian memproses data dan mengirimkan pesan peringatan otomatis ke WhatsApp melalui integrasi API. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu memberikan notifikasi secara cepat dan akurat pada berbagai kondisi lingkungan dengan jarak transmisi yang stabil. Implementasi ini menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi LoRa dan WhatsApp dapat menjadi solusi keamanan rumah yang efisien, murah, dan mudah digunakan. Kata Kunci: Internet Of Things (Iot), Lora, Sistem Keamanan Rumah, Sensor Gerak, Sensor Pintu, Sensor Asap, Whatsapp, Notifikasi Real-Time, Mikrokontroler ================================================================================================= The advancement of Internet of Things (IoT) technology enables the development of smarter and more efficient home security systems that can be monitored remotely. This study implements a home security system based on IoT utilizing LoRa as a long-range communication medium and WhatsApp as a real-time notification platform. The system employs motion sensors, door sensors, and smoke sensors connected to a microcontroller as monitoring nodes. Detection data are transmitted to a gateway via LoRa, which provides wide coverage and low power consumption. The gateway processes the data and automatically sends alert messages to the user's WhatsApp through API integration. Experimental results show that the system is capable of delivering fast and accurate notifications under various environmental conditions with stable transmission range. This implementation demonstrates that the combination of LoRa and WhatsApp can serve as an efficient, low-cost, and user-friendly home security solution.
