Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) telah mendorong penerapan sistem otomatisasi pada berbagai bidang, termasuk dalam peralatan rumah tangga. Salah satu aktivitas yang masih banyak dilakukan secara manual adalah proses pengupasan kulit buah menggunakan alat konvensional yang memerlukan tenaga dan waktu lebih. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun alat pengupas kulit buah otomatis berbasis mikrokontroler ESP32 yang dapat dikendalikan serta dipantau menggunakan aplikasi Blynk. Sistem yang dikembangkan memanfaatkan motor DC gearbox sebagai penggerak utama untuk memutar tuas alat pengupas buah, sedangkan aplikasi Blynk digunakan sebagai media pengaturan kecepatan motor, durasi pengupasan, monitoring waktu secara real-time, dan pengiriman notifikasi setelah proses pengupasan selesai. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi tahap identifikasi kebutuhan, perancangan perangkat keras (hardware), perancangan perangkat lunak (software), implementasi sistem, serta pengujian fungsional terhadap seluruh fitur alat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem berhasil diimplementasikan sesuai dengan rancangan. ESP32 mampu berkomunikasi dengan aplikasi Blynk melalui jaringan Wi-Fi, sedangkan motor DC gearbox dapat beroperasi sesuai pengaturan kecepatan dan durasi yang diberikan pengguna. Selain itu, sistem berhasil menampilkan proses hitung mundur (countdown) secara real-time dan mengirimkan notifikasi ketika proses pengupasan selesai. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, alat mampu meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi proses pengupasan dibandingkan dengan cara manual karena pengguna tidak lagi memutar tuas secara langsung serta dapat melakukan pengendalian dan pemantauan alat melalui smartphone. Kata Kunci: Internet Of Things (Iot), ESP32, Blynk, Motor DC Gearbox, Alat Pengupas Kulit Buah Otomatis ===================================================================== The development of Internet of Things (IoT) technology has encouraged the implementation of automation systems in various fields, including household equipment. One activity that is still commonly performed manually is fruit peeling using conventional peeling tools, which requires considerable effort and time. This study aims to design and develop an automatic fruit peeling device based on the ESP32 microcontroller that can be controlled and monitored through the Blynk application. The proposed system utilizes a DC gearbox motor as the main actuator to rotate the fruit peeling mechanism, while the Blynk application serves as a platform for adjusting motor speed, setting peeling duration, monitoring the remaining operating time in real-time, and receiving completion notifications. The research methodology consisted of requirement analysis, hardware design, software development, system implementation, and functional testing of all system features. The results demonstrate that the proposed system was successfully implemented according to the design specifications. The ESP32 was able to communicate reliably with the Blynk application via a Wi-Fi network, while the DC gearbox motor operated according to the configured speed and timer settings. Furthermore, the system successfully displayed a real-time countdown and automatically sent notifications when the peeling process was completed. Based on the testing results, the developed system improved the effectiveness and efficiency of the fruit peeling process compared to the conventional manual method, as users no longer needed to rotate the peeling handle manually and could conveniently control and monitor the device through a smartphone.
