Abstract

Perubahan kondisi cuaca dan kelembaban tanah yang tidak menentu menjadi salah satu faktor yang memengaruhi pertumbuhan dan produktivitas tanaman sawi. Pemantauan yang masih dilakukan secara manual menyebabkan petani kesulitan memperoleh informasi kondisi lahan secara cepat dan akurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem E-Monitoring berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang mampu memantau suhu udara, kelembaban udara, kelembaban tanah, serta kondisi hujan secara real-time. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Perangkat keras yang digunakan terdiri atas mikrokontroler ESP32, sensor DHT22, Soil Moisture Sensor kapasitif, Rain Sensor, relay, dan pompa air, sedangkan Telegram Bot digunakan sebagai media monitoring, kontrol, dan pengiriman notifikasi kepada pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu melakukan monitoring kondisi lingkungan secara real-time, mengirimkan informasi melalui Telegram Bot, serta melakukan penyiraman tanaman secara otomatis berdasarkan kondisi kelembaban tanah dan cuaca. Selain itu, pengguna juga dapat mengendalikan pompa air secara manual melalui Telegram Bot. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang dilakukan, seluruh fungsi sistem dapat berjalan sesuai dengan rancangan, mulai dari pembacaan sensor, pengiriman data, pengendalian pompa, hingga pengiriman notifikasi otomatis kepada pengguna. Dengan demikian, sistem E-Monitoring yang dikembangkan mampu membantu petani dalam memantau kondisi lahan secara lebih efektif dan efisien serta berpotensi mendukung peningkatan produktivitas tanaman sawi melalui pengelolaan penyiraman yang lebih tepat. Conventional manual monitoring makes it difficult for farmers to obtain fast and accurate information about field conditions. This research aims to design and develop an Internet of Things (IoT)-based E-Monitoring system capable of monitoring air temperature, air humidity, soil moisture, and rainfall conditions in real-time. The system was developed using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. The hardware consists of an ESP32 microcontroller, a DHT22 sensor, a capacitive Soil Moisture Sensor, a Rain Sensor, a relay module, and a water pump. A Telegram Bot is utilized as the monitoring, control, and notification platform for users. The results indicate that the proposed system is capable of monitoring environmental conditions in real-time, transmitting sensor data through the Telegram Bot, and automatically controlling irrigation based on soil moisture and weather conditions. In addition, users can manually control the water pump remotely through the Telegram Bot. System testing demonstrates that all functions operate as designed, including sensor data acquisition, data transmission, pump control, and automatic notification delivery. Therefore, the developed E-Monitoring system can assist farmers in monitoring field conditions more effectively and efficiently while supporting improved mustard green productivity through more precise irrigation management.
