Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital saat ini membawa perubahan besar dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnya dalam menghadirkan metode belajar yang lebih interaktif dan menarik bagi minat belajar siswa. Sayangnya, proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar masih sering mengandalkan metode konvensional seperti buku teks dan lain sejenisnya. Hal ini membuat materi terutama yang bersifat abstrak seperti bangun ruang terasa sulit dipahami dan cenderung menurunkan minat belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengembangkan sekaligus menguji pengaruh media pembelajaran berbasis Augmented Reality terhadap minat belajar siswa SD pada mata pelajaran Matematika. Pengembangan media ini menggunakan metode Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) melalui enam tahapan, yaitu concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, dan distribution. Penelitian ini melibatkan anak SD dalam mencari data yang diperlukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi media pembelajaran berbasis Augmented Reality terhadap minat belajar siswa layak dan berjalan dengan lancar untuk menjadi sebuah media pembelajaran yang modern, inovatif dan menarik bagi siswa. Hadirnya media interaktif ini diharapkan dapat menjadi alternatif pembelajaran yang menyenangkan sekaligus mempermudah siswa SD dalam memahami konsep-konsep matematika. Kata Kunci : Augmented Reality, Media Pembelajaran, Minat Belajar, MDLC. ============================================================================ The current advancement of digital technology has brought about significant changes in the field of education, particularly by introducing learning methods that are more interactive and engaging for students. Unfortunately, the learning process in elementary schools often still relies on conventional methods, such as textbooks and similar materials. This makes certain topics—especially abstract ones like 3D geometric shapes—difficult to grasp and tends to diminish students' interest in learning. This study aimed to develop and evaluate the impact of Augmented Reality-based learning media on elementary school students' interest in mathematics. The media was developed using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method, comprising six stages: concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. Elementary school students participated in the data collection process. The results indicate that the Augmented Reality-based learning media application is viable and functions effectively, serving as a modern, innovative, and engaging learning tool for students. This interactive media is expected to provide a fun alternative for learning while helping elementary school students better understand mathematical concepts.
