Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) dalam menumbuhkan sikap gotong royong pada siswa kelas XI SMK Swasta Albukhory Rantau Prapat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi dengan informan yang terdiri dari guru PPKn, siswa kelas XI, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, serta wali kelas. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles, Huberman, & Saldana yang meliputi kondensasi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran pembelajaran PPKn telah dirancang secara sistematis melalui kegiatan kolaboratif, diskusi kelompok, dan proyek kecil yang mendorong interaksi positif antarsiswa. Guru memainkan peran penting sebagai fasilitator, pengarah, dan model keteladanan dalam menanamkan nilai gotong royong. Temuan lapangan menunjukkan adanya perubahan perilaku siswa, antara lain meningkatnya partisipasi dalam diskusi, saling membantu, serta kemampuan bekerja sama dalam menyelesaikan tugas kelompok. Faktor pendukung yang memperkuat peran pembelajaran antara lain budaya sekolah yang terbiasa dengan kegiatan kolektif, hubungan sosial siswa yang harmonis, serta dukungan kegiatan kokurikuler. Adapun hambatan yang ditemukan meliputi perbedaan karakter siswa, keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran, dan kondisi ruang kelas yang kurang mendukung aktivitas kolaboratif. Secara keseluruhan, pembelajaran PPKn terbukti berkontribusi signifikan dalam menumbuhkan sikap gotong royong siswa, meskipun perannya masih perlu ditingkatkan melalui inovasi metode, perencanaan pembelajaran yang lebih matang, dan dukungan lingkungan sekolah yang lebih optimal. Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Ppkn, Sikap Gotong Royong, Siswa SMK ============================================================================================ This study aims to describe the implementation of Civic Education (PPKn) learning in fostering the attitude of mutual cooperation among Grade XI students at SMK Swasta Albukhory Rantau Prapat. The research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving PPKn teachers, Grade XI students, the vice principal for curriculum affairs, and homeroom teachers as informants. Data analysis followed the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model, consisting of data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the implementation of PPKn learning was systematically designed through collaborative activities, group discussions, and small projects that encouraged positive interaction among students. Teachers played a crucial role as facilitators, guides, and role models in instilling the value of gotong royong. Field observations indicated changes in students’ behavior, including increased participation in discussions, mutual assistance, and improved teamwork in completing group assignments. Supporting factors that strengthened the implementation included an established school culture of collective activities, harmonious student relationships, and support from cocurricular programs. Meanwhile, several obstacles were identified, such as differences in student character, limited instructional time, and classroom conditions that were less conducive to collaborative activities. Overall, PPKn learning significantly contributed to fostering students’ gotong royong attitudes, although its implementation still requires improvement through methodological innovation, more systematic instructional planning, and stronger support from the school environment.
