Abstract

House fires can occur without us realizing it and can occur suddenly, caused by accidents such as electrical short circuits, LPG gas leaks, sparks of cigarettes/matches and so on. especially often occurs when we are outside or the condition of the house is empty. The purpose of this research is to create a fire detection system that can notify a fire when we are not at home or the condition of the house is empty by focusing on making fire detection devices that use the telegram application and telegram bots as a link between mobile phones and fire detectors. of course by utilizing Iot (Internet Of Things). so that owners of houses, buildings, offices or agencies and many others, quickly prevent fires and even bigger losses. The system uses three sensors namely fire sensor, gas sensor, and temperature sensor. the fire sensor functions to detect the presence of fire in a fire, the gas sensor is useful for detecting the presence of gas that appears before a fire occurs and the temperature sensor functions as a temperature detector around. This system uses the NodeMCU ESP8826 as its microcontroller equipped with a Wifi module in it so that the fire detector can be connected to the network and will automatically connect to Telegram then the bot in the Telegram application will send notifications to the user's cellphone or Android, after that the user can respond quickly to deal with / overcome the fire. The results of this Fire Detector Tool are expected to minimize the occurrence of fires and also losses caused by fires. Keywords : Fire, NodeMCU ESP8266, Internet Of Things
