Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kinerja supervisi akademik kepala sekolah, profesionalisme guru, serta kinerja supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan profesionalisme guru di SMP Negeri I I Torgamba. Fokus penelitian diarahkan pada proses supervisi akademik yang meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan tindak lanjut serta dampaknya terhadap peningkatan kompetensi guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Infonnan penelitian terdiri dari kepala sekolah dan guru. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dengan teknik triangulasi untuk menjamin keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dilaksanakan secara terencana, sistematis, kolaboratif, dan berkelanjutan. Pada tahap perencanaan, supervisi disusun berdasarkan refleksi supervisi sebelumnya, kebutuhan guru, dan analisis perangkat pembelajaran. Pada tahap pelaksanaan, supervisi dilakukan melalui observasi kelas, dialog profesional, serta pemberian umpan balik berbasis coaching reflektif. Tahap tindak lanjut dilaksanakan melalui pembinaan, pendampingan, diskusi reflektif, serta pelatihan berkelanjutan melalui komunitas belajar guru. Profesionalisme guru menunjukkan perkembangan yang baik pada empat kompetensi utama, yaitu kompetensi pedagogik, kepribadian, sosial, dan profesional. Peningkatan terlihat pada kemampuan guru merancang pembelajaran, membangun keteladanan, menjalin komunikasi dan kolaborasi, serta meningkatkan penguasaan materi dan penggunaan media pembelajaran. Supervisi akademik kepala sekolah berkontribusi nyata terhadap pengembangan profesionalisme guru melalui peran sebagai supervisor, motivator, pembimbing (coach), dan fasilitator. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja supervisi akademik kepala sekolah menjadi faktor penting dalam mengembangkan profesionalisme guru, meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, serta membangun budaya reflektif dan pengembangan profesional berkelanjutan di sekolah. Kata kunci: Kinerja Kepala Sekolah, Supervisi Akademik, Profesionalisme Guru ================================================================================================== This study aims to describe the principali academic supervision performance, teacher professionalism, and the role of academic supervision in developing teacher professionalism at SMP Negeri 11 Tomgamba. The focus of the study is directed at the academic supervision process, which includes the planning, implementation, and follow-up stages, as well as its impact on improving teacher competencies. This research employed a qualitative appmach using a case study method. Data were collected thmugh in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The reseamh informants consisted of the principal and teachers. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing using triangulation techniques to ensure data validity. The findings indicate that the principal academic supervision performance is carried out in a planned, systematic, collaborative, and sustainable manner In the planning stage, supervision is designed based on previous supervision reflections, teachers ' needs, and analysis of instructional documents. During the implementation stage, supervision is conducted through classroom obsenution, pmfessional dialogue, and reflective coaching-based feedback. The follow-up stage includes guidance, mentoring, Mlective discussions, and continuous training thmugh teacher learning communities. Teacher professionalism shows positive development acmss four main competencies: pedagogical, personal, social, and professional competencies. Improvements are reflected in teachers' ability to design learning, demonstrate role-model behavio'; build communication and collaboration, and enhance mastery of subject matter and the use of instructional media. The principal's academic supervision contributes significantly to the development of teacher pmfessionalism through roles as supervisom; motivator, coach, and facilitator The study concludes that the principal's academic supervision performance is an important factor in developing teacher professionalism, improving the quality of learning, and fostering a reflective culture and sustainable professional development within the school.
