Abstract
Reading and writing activities are still a problem in elementary schools such as being unable to read. This study aims to analyze the implementation of literacy in elementary schools. This study used a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The sampling technique used the formula of respondents and key informants for grade 5 teachers. The research instruments used were questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis through data reduction, data analysis, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research on the application of literacy literacy likes to read with a percentage of 24.1% shows that the application of literacy literacy that is carried out consistently in schools once a week has not run optimally, supported by the results of interviews with teachers that it is true that there are still many students who are still playing around when carrying out literacy activities outside the classroom. Furthermore, in the application of creative reading, literacy in reading and writing with a percentage of 43.14% shows that students tend to prefer creative reading because students are free to express and be creative in reading. The application of reading and writing literacy self-development with a percentage of 84.16% that self-development is given to students aims to provide opportunities for students to develop and express themselves according to the talents and interests of students according to the extracurriculars provided by the school. Keywords: Writing and Reading Literacy, 21st Century, Self-Development ===================== Kegiatan membaca dan menulis masih menjadi masalah di sekolah dasar seperti tidak bisa membaca. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis penerapan literasi baca tulis di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan rumus responden dan informan kunci guru kelas 5. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu angket dan wawancara. Analisis data melalui reduksi data, analisis data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian penerapan literasi baca tulis gemar membaca dengan persentase 24,1% menunjukkan bahwa penerapan literasi baca tulis yang dilaksanakan sekolah secara konsisten dalam 1 minggu sekali belum berjalan dengan maksimal, didukung dengan hasil wawancara dengan guru bahwa benar masih banyak siswa yang masih bermain-main saat melaksanakan kegiatan literasi di luar kelas. Selanjutnya dalam penerapan membaca kreatif literasi baca tulis dengan persentase 43,14% menunjukkan bahwa siswa cenderung lebih menyukai membaca kreatif karena siswa bebas berekspresi dan kreatif dalam membaca. Penerapan pengembangan diri literasi baca tulis dengan persentase 84,16% bahwasannya pengembangan diri diberikan kepada siswa bertujuan untuk memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa dalam mengembangkan dan mengekspresikan diri sesuai bakat dan minat siswa sesuai ekstrakulikuler yang disediakan sekolah.
