Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesadaran hukum bagi peserta didik terhadap pelanggaran disiplin di SMA Negeri 1 Bilah Hulu. Jenis Penelitian Kualitatif dengan pendekatan metode Deskriftif Kualitaif. Subjek peneliti terdiri dari siswa kelas XI1, Kelas XI2 berjumlah 76 siswa, wali kelas dan guru BK. Hasil penelitian 1). Faktor penyebab peserta didik melakukan pelanggaan disiplin dikarenakan faktor keluarga yang kurang menerapkan disiplin terhadap anak, faktor sekolah yang kurang kondusif dalam pengajaran, dan faktor dari pergaulan interaksi sosial teman yang kurang kondusif sehingga berdampak negatif bagi siswa. 2). Upaya kesadaran hukum terhadap pelanggaran disiplin bagi peserta didik masih ditemukan adanya siswa yang belum sadar dan masih adanya pengulangan pelanggaran disiplin sekolah. Sesuai dengan dugaan kasus yang telah terjadi di sekolah dalam penerapanya, pihak satuan pendidik dengan guru BK berusaha semaksimal mungkin untuk meningkatkan kesadaran hukum disiplin terhadap siswa. Dengan upaya memberikan nasehat, sosialisasi dan penerapan peraturan sekolah secara tegas dan konsisten. Kerja sama antara orang tua dan pihak satuan pendidikan harus tetap terjaga dalam mendidik siswa baik lingkungan keluarga maupun lingkungan pendidikan di sekolah. Kata Kunci : Kesadaran Hukum, Peserta Didik, Disiplin Sekolah ===================================================================================================== This research aims to determine students' legal awareness regarding disciplinary violations at SMA Negeri 1 Bilah Hulu. Type of Qualitative Research with a Qualitative Descriptive method approach. The research subjects consisted of 76 students from class XI1, class XI2, homeroom teachers and guidance and counseling teachers. Research results 1). Factors that cause students to violate discipline are family factors that do not apply discipline to children, school factors that are not conducive to teaching, and factors from friends' social interactions that are less conducive so that they have a negative impact on students. 2). Efforts to raise legal awareness of disciplinary violations for students still found that there were students who were not aware and there were still repeated violations of school discipline. In accordance with alleged cases that have occurred in schools in their implementation, the educational unit and guidance and counseling teachers are trying as hard as possible to increase awareness of disciplinary law towards students. By providing advice, socializing and implementing school regulations firmly and consistently. Collaboration between parents and educational units must be maintained in educating students both in the family environment and the educational environment at school.
