Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi minimnya media pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran biologi di Universitas Labuhanbatu dengan mengembangkan buku saku berbasis riset yang menyajikan informasi komprehensif tentang keragaman biota air tawar di Sungai Bilah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) yang terdiri dari tahap analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, pengembangan, dan evaluasi. Populasi penelelitian ini adalah adalah mahasiswa biologi di Universitas Labuhanbatu, dengan sampel 27 orang dari 30 Mahasiswa/I yang ditentukan melalui purposive sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data terdiri dari kuensioner, wawancara, dan lembar observasi langsung. Data dikumpulkan melalui survei, wawancara, observasi, dan observasi langsung. Analisis data menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif untuk menilai efektivitas dan kelayakan buku saku. Hasil penelitian nilai rata-rata dari Ahli Materi 2,87 dengan Presentase 71,87% dengan kategori Baik , respon dari Ahli Media dari 3,96 dengan Presentase 98,22% di kategorikan Sangat Baik, Ahli Bahasa 3,86 dengan Presentase 92,86% kategori Sangat Baik, sedangkan respon dari Mahasiswa/I nilai rata-ratanya 3,73 dengan Presentase 92,71% kategori Sangat Jelas. Kata Kunci : Buku Saku, Biota Air Tawar,Keanekaragaman Hayati =================================================================================================== This research aims to overcome the lack of learning media in biology subjects at Labuhanbatu University by developing a research-based pocket book that provides comprehensive information about the diversity of freshwater biota in the Bilah River. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) which consists of needs analysis, design, development and evaluation stages. The population of this research is biology students at Labuhanbatu University, with a sample of 27 people from 30 students determined through purposive sampling. Data collection instruments consist of questionnaires, interviews and direct observation sheets. Data was collected through surveys, interviews, observations and direct observation. Data analysis uses quantitative and qualitative methods to assess the effectiveness and feasibility of the pocket book. The research results mean that the average score from Material Experts is 2.87 with a percentage of 71.87% in the Good category, the response from Media Experts is 3.96 with a percentage of 98.22% in the Very Good category, Language Experts 3.86 with a Percentage of 92, 86% were in the Very Good category, while the response from students had an average value of 3.73 with a percentage of 92.71% in the Very Clear category.
