Abstract

This study aims to determine how the Teams Games Tournament learning paradigm affects students' willingness to learn and performance in mathematics on the Algebraic Function Limit material. This study uses a quasi-experimental methodology and is quantitative. Students of grade XI of SMA Negeri 2 Rantau Selatan participated in this study, consisting of 36 students of grade XI MIPA 1 and 35 students of grade XI MIPA 2. The research tool used was a student motivation questionnaire sheet. The purpose of this study was to identify the Algebraic Function Limit learning model using Teams Games Tournament. With a significance level of 1.111 0.05 and a t-test result of 0.000, the hypothesis is accepted and rejected, so that the following hypothesis is obtained: "The Effect of Learning Motivation and the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) Learning Model on Mathematics Learning Outcomes of Grade XI Students of SMA Negeri 2 Rantau Selatan". This shows that the application of the Teams Games Tournament learning paradigm can improve students' willingness to learn and mathematics learning achievement in the Algebraic Function Limit subject.
